POLICY:
1/ All lessons are by appointment.
2/ All lesson fees are due, in full, on the first lesson of each term. Payments can be made by cash, debit, cheque, and/or post-dated cheques. NSF cheques will incur a $45 fee.
3/ Accounts that are 30 days past due are subject to suspension of lessons and a late payment fee of $20 per student.
4/ Cancellations must be received 24 hours before the lesson. All cancelled lessons MUST be made-up by the end of the term at a time that is mutually convenient for you and the teacher.
5/ Lessons not properly cancelled will be considered missed. There will be no make-ups for missed lessons.
6/ Lessons cancelled by the teacher will be made-up at a mutually convenient time.
7/ We hold the right to provide a substitute teacher if your regular teacher is unavailable.
8/ In the event of severe weather conditions, Dundas Conservatory of Music will remain open or closed based on the decision of the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board. Please check our website/facebook/twitter for updates. Lessons cancelled due to power outages or weather conditions will be rescheduled.
9/ To stop lessons notice must be given 2 weeks before the end of the current month. Lesson fees will be refunded for the remainder of the term starting from the following month.
10/ We reserve the right to withdraw a student from lessons based on lack of interest, poor attitude and/or behavior, numerous missed lessons, or difficult parents.
